Miranda knows how to make people listen, laugh, and feel part of something. Her broadcasting career includes Hitman & Miranda in the Morning, Mid-days with Miranda, and Miranda After Dark, with experience at Entercom, Rocking M Media, and Allied Media Partners.
She has researched stories, interviewed guests, written and produced commercials, managed station content, hosted talent, and emceed live events. Her community work includes Goodwill Industries, the Woofstock fundraiser, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Kidzcope, where she has also sung the National Anthem.
At Other Mother, those skills share a stage. Miranda can shape the program, record the promo, find the right people, sing the song, and bring the audience with her. The microphone is only the beginning. Knowing what to do with it is the useful part.

Jamie is Miranda’s consigliere: the person behind the scenes asking the useful questions, thinking through the business, and helping good ideas find their feet.
A former marketing and ecommerce VP with an MBA, Jamie left the corporate world for the good life. She still has the credentials, the business instincts, and a deeply personal grudge against meetings that could have been a text.
Miranda brings the show. Jamie helps keep the plot together. The spreadsheet is invited. It still doesn’t get to pick the music.

I’m Miranda. I’ve made a career out of bringing people together, on the radio, on stage, and in rooms that needed a little more life. The name Other Mother comes from a much more personal part of my story.
When my ex-husband married Jamie, our family grew in a direction neither of us had exactly put on a vision board. We became the other mother to each other’s kids. Showing up for them gave us common ground, and somewhere between the logistics and the group texts, a friendship happened.
Other Mother is where I bring my voice, singing, hosting, and production experience together. It’s my way of making more good shows, shared moments, and spaces where people feel part of something. Jamie is in my corner as my consigliere, with a business brain and a well-timed reality check.
You bring the occasion, the audience, or the idea. I bring the preparation, the personality, and the instinct for what will make it connect. I take your moment seriously. Myself, only when absolutely necessary.
